Organic Emmer Crop

This crop hailes from the experts of durum and emmer wheats in North Dakota. We are truly blessed to provided with this exceptional harvest. Please keep in mind because of Emmer's demand it will only be available about 6 months out of the year. Emmer is an extraordinary grain known for its dominant graham cracker aroma and wide range of applications. In Italy it is known as “Farro Medio” and is an excellent choice for whole grain breads, pastas and rissotto.  Substitute up to 40% of your sourdough recipe with Emmer to add red color and  exceptional aroma.
