South Eastern sourwood is has an unmistakable sweet butterlike  flavor that is only available a couple months out of the year.  Please don't waist this in tea, make sure it goes on exceptional bread.

About the Apiarists: We are extremely grateful to have access to 3 bee keepers providing sourwood periodically throughout the year.  Positioning hives near sourwood tree concentrations is not an easy task for a myriad of reasons.
